Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Prepares patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient. Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests. Assist Dentist. Give patient oral hygiene instruction.Clean and sterilize dental instruments and equipments. Perform other related jobs that may assign from time to time. Sterilize and disinfect instruments; set up instrument trays; prepare materials and assist dentist during dental procedure. Expose dental diagnostic xrays. Record treatment information in patient record chart. Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. Provide post operative instructions prescribed by dentist. Assist dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies. Pour, trim and polish study casts.
